She studied at the Istituto Superiore di Studi Musicali “P. Mascagni” in Livorno and obtained with full marks a degree at the Istituto Superiore di Studi Musicali “L. Boccherini” in Lucca, followed by studies with M° Antonio Bacchelli.

She attended master classes at the International Academy of Portogruaro, at the Music Academy of Mestre with Maestro Dino Asciolla, with Maestro Gyorgy Sandor.

In 1980 she was awarded chamber music First Prize at the national competition “F. Cilea” of Palmi.

She has performed in Italy and abroad (USA and Switzerland) both as a soloist and in chamber music ensembles with particular attention to flute & piano repertoire cooperating with artists like Emmanuel Pahud, Giancarlo Graverini, Mario Ancillotti, Michele Marasco.

She enjoyed the esteem of prestigious musicians such as Arrigo Tassinari, Franco Rossi, Tito Aprea, Piero Bellugi, Dino Asciolla.

She teaches principal piano at the Istituto Superiore di Studi Musicali “R. Franci” in Siena.

She collaborated since 1981 with the National Competition "F. Cilea" of Palmi.
