CURRICULUM
Erica Margaret Bocci was born in London.
She gained her Piano Diploma at the Conservatoire L. Boccherini in Lucca, followed by her Harpsichord Diploma at the Conservatoire L. Cherubini in Florence and her Singing Diploma at the Conservatoire A. Scontrino in Trapani.
She studied in England at the Royal College of Music in London, under R. Wolley, obtaining the ARCM in Harpsichord performing.
She has attended harpsichord and baroque music masterclasses at the Accademia Musicale Chigiana in Siena with K. Gilbert and at the Music School in Fiesole with A. Fedi.
She has given many concerts, also abroad, as a soloist and in chamber ensembles, as a pianist and harpsichordist, as a piano accompanist; in orchestra as a continuo player and as a choir singer.
She has worked as a piano collaborator for choirs and lirical ensembles.
From 1989 to 2001 she worked as a piano repetiteur for singing classes and classes in acting and stagecraft at the Conservatoire R. Franci in Siena.
From 2003 to 2009 she taught Music theory and Solfeggio, first at the Conservatoire R. Franci in Siena and then in Lucca at the Conservatoire L. Boccherini.
From 2010 she is a lecturer professor of Theory, Rythm and Ear Training at the Conservatoire R. Franci in Siena.
