Duccio Bianchi studied under M° A. Borghese at the “L. Cherubini” Conservatory of Music in Florence where he received his diploma with honors in 1991. He continued his studies following the Master Class Program’s of the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole and parteciped in the specialization courses held by J. Tomàs, A. Company, L. Brouwer and by O. Ghiglia at the Accademia Musicale Chigiana in Siena.
He has performed as a soloist and with chamber music groups for important musical institutions, orchestras and lyric-symphony organizations such as: Orchestra del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, ORT Orchestra della Toscana, Contempoartensemble, Cantiere Internazionale d’Arte di Montepulciano (SI)..
He recorded two CD with the soprano D. Debolini with music of Mompou, Braga, Villa Lobos and Britten, Farkas, Gerhard, Castelnuovo Tedesco..
He teaches guitar at the “R. Franci” Conservatory in Siena..
